The Flag Slice Support

For help, email hello@leonfrontier.com with your platform, app version, and a description of the issue.

01

How the daily game works

Each puzzle is a pie chart of one flag's colours: every slice is a colour, sized by how much of the flag it covers, with the percentage printed on it. Search the list and name the flag. You have three guesses for each one.

There are ten flags a day, three easy, four medium, and three hard, drawn from countries, states and provinces, cities, territories, and international organisations. A new set arrives at midnight UTC and is the same for everyone.

02

Scoring

Every flag is worth three points. A wrong guess costs nothing but a guess. The clue, which tells you what kind of place the flag belongs to and where, costs one point and shortens the list to match. The layout hint costs one more. Ten flags produce a maximum score of 30.

03

Flags that share a pie

Some flags have exactly the same colours in the same proportions. Any of them counts as correct, and your results show which others matched.

04

Optional rewarded videos

Watching a rewarded video is always your choice. It can unlock the shape hint, a blurred mosaic of the flag, which costs no points. If the video does not finish or cannot be confirmed, nothing is unlocked and nothing is charged.

05

Accounts and progress

Guest play requires no sign-in. Apple sign-in on iOS or Google sign-in on Android adds cross-device progress and a place on the leaderboards. Guests can turn on the daily reminder too.

06

Leaderboards

There is one daily leaderboard, because everyone plays the same ten flags. The weekly, monthly, and yearly leaderboards add up your daily scores, using UTC weeks (starting Monday), months, and years. Higher totals rank first; ties go to the player who used fewer hints, then to whoever reached the total first.

When a year ends, its top player is crowned that year's champion and shown at the top of the Year tab. You need to be signed in with a public username to be ranked.

07

Report or block a player

If a username on a leaderboard is offensive, tap the flag beside it. Choose Report this name and pick a reason to send it to our moderators, who review reports within 24 hours. Choose Block this player to hide them from your leaderboards straight away. Blocked players are listed in Settings, where you can unblock them.

08

Themes

Settings offers five looks: Atlas Noir, Signal Arcade, Paper Atlas, Chromatic Lab, and Expedition Club. A theme changes colours and type only; the game and the colours of the pie are the same in every one.

09

Remove Ads subscription

Subscribe from Settings → Remove Ads (monthly or yearly) to hide banners and the post-game ad. If it is not recognised after reinstalling or on a new device, use Restore purchase in the same place. To cancel or switch plans, use Manage subscription there, or your App Store or Google Play account settings.

10

Ads and privacy choices

No ad is requested until a consent choice has been resolved. On iPhone and iPad, the app first asks for Apple's permission to track; if you decline, ads are always non-personalised. On both iOS and Android, ads are personalised only where consent is not required or you have agreed to personalised advertising in the consent form. Rewarded videos are always optional. Reopen consent controls from Settings → Privacy choices.

11

Delete your account

You can delete your Flag Slice account from inside the app at any time. You need an internet connection.

  • Open The Flag Slice and make sure you are signed in.
  • Open Profile.
  • Scroll to Danger zone at the bottom of Profile.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Read the confirmation and confirm. You are signed out and the data on this device is cleared.
12

Delete guest data

If you play without signing in, you can delete the guest and its results the same way. You need an internet connection.

  • Open Profile.
  • Scroll to Danger zone.
  • Tap Delete guest data, then confirm.
13

If you cannot open the app

Email hello@leonfrontier.com with the subject “The Flag Slice account deletion”. Say whether you signed in with Apple or Google and include your username if you had one, so we can find the account. We verify the request and complete it within 7 business days, then confirm by email.

14

What deletion removes

Deleting an account removes your username, your Apple or Google sign-in link, your saved sessions, your reminder registrations and your theme preference, and clears Flag Slice data from the device. Signing in again later creates a new, empty account.

Your past game results stay on our servers without your username or sign-in link, for game integrity and statistics, but you no longer appear on any leaderboard, including as a past yearly champion. Deleting guest data removes that guest's results from the server.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Remove Ads subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions before you delete the account.

15

A flag looks wrong

Colour percentages are measured from the flag's image, so a flag with fine detail can produce small slices you might not expect. If a flag is misnamed, out of date, or should not be in the game, email hello@leonfrontier.com with its name and we will review it.
