The Flag Slice Terms of Use

Flags and what they mean

Flags appear in the game as a puzzle about colour and nothing more. Showing a flag, or leaving one out, is not a statement by us about the status, borders, or recognition of any place, government, or organisation. We leave out flags we judge to be disputed or likely to cause offence, and we may add, correct, or remove flags at any time.

Guest and signed-in access

You may play as a guest. Optional Apple or Google sign-in links progress and account features. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and provider account.

Usernames

The Flag Slice has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Your public username must not be offensive, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or threatening, must not advertise anything, and must not impersonate anyone or infringe anyone's rights.

Every username is screened before it appears on a leaderboard, and names that are flagged or reported are reviewed by a person. We may reject or block a name at any time. While your name is blocked you do not appear on leaderboards until you choose a new name; your results and streaks are kept.

Reporting and blocking

If a username on a leaderboard is offensive or abusive, tap the flag beside it to report the name or block the player. A report goes to a person for review; a report on its own never removes a name. Blocking hides that player from your leaderboards only, and they are not told. You can undo a block in Settings.

We aim to review reports within 24 hours. We remove objectionable usernames, and we may restrict access for players who choose them or who misuse reporting.

Fair and acceptable use

• Do not automate answers or submissions.
• Do not manipulate scores, reward confirmation, sessions, or leaderboards.
• Do not disrupt the service, bypass security, access another player's data, or use content unlawfully.

Advertising

Free play is supported by advertising. Rewarded advertising is always optional. Advertising and consent services may be unavailable in some regions or temporarily interrupted.

Remove Ads subscription

Remove Ads is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly to your App Store or Google Play account, and processed by Apple or Google under their store terms. Payment is charged to that store account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or from Settings → Remove Ads → Manage subscription; cancelling stops future renewals, and Remove Ads stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled by the store.

While active, Remove Ads hides banners and the post-game interstitial. Optional rewarded videos remain available.

Availability and changes

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular daily puzzle, notification delivery, or continued availability of every feature. We may correct content or restrict access required to protect players and service integrity.
