Instead of juggling a scanner app, a PDF reader, and a transcription service, you bring the file and pick what you need from it. Results arrive as structured Markdown you can read, copy, and reuse.

What can ScanGenAI do?+
Three things: run OCR on an image to extract its text, process a PDF so you can ask questions answered from that document, and transcribe recorded or uploaded audio. Results are returned as structured Markdown you can copy.
Which devices are supported?+
ScanGenAI runs on iOS and Android, and follows your system light, dark, or automatic appearance.
Can I trust every generated answer?+
No AI result should be accepted without checking the original image, document, or audio — especially for important decisions. Document answers are grounded in the file you uploaded, but grounding is not a guarantee of accuracy.
Which model does it use?+
The backend supports multiple cloud and locally hosted providers, combined with vector search and background job workers. The provider set in use is described in the privacy policy.
What happens to the files I upload?+
Uploads are queued and processed by OCR, transcription, embedding, vector search, and language-model services, and generated output is stored with the job state so the app can display your results. The privacy policy sets out the detail.
How do I delete my account?+
Use the in-app deletion control under Profile or Settings. If you cannot reach the app, email support from the address associated with the account.
